The PAPG is proud to announce that due to the support of our members and sponsors that the organization has created the PAPG Scholarship.
Details:
The Award was created with an initial funding of $12,500
This allows a yearly grant of $500.00.
The scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who are both:
A) Attending a University in the Appalachian Basin Area
B) Studying Appalachian Basin Geology
Years in which the grant is not issued due to no applicants, the grant
will be added to the principal.
The yearly grant will increase in value as principal increases.
Management:
The PAPG Scholarship is managed and administered through the AAPG Foundation.
The AAPG Foundation was established in 1967 with the primary goal of providing a source of funding for educational, charitable and scientific objectives, which directly and indirectly benefit the geologic profession and the general public.

Funding:
The PAPG hopes to add to the principal annually.
Individuals and corporations may also donate to the fund.
Donations are tax deductible and can be made online, by phone or by mail.
